The third year of the conference, at which mainly doctoral students present the results of their work and debate with experienced experts, took place on June 29, 2020 at the UJEP Faculty of Environment. As in previous years, the Faculty of the Environment and the Faculty of Science of UJEP cooperated in the organization.
This year, a total of 25 students or recent graduates of doctoral programs at the FŽP and PřF spoke at the STUDKON conference, and approximately 30 guests from the field council, trainers, consultants and other experts working outside UJEP also took part. For the first time, first-year students of the newly accredited innovative programs Environmental Chemistry and Technology (FŽP), Applied Nanotechnology and Computer Modeling in Science and Technology (PřF) also had the opportunity to participate. The topic of the contributions was very varied. It included, for example, mapping of polluted dam and river sediments, phytoremediation using energy plants, nanotechnology for biomedical use, preparation and characterization of new materials, computer modeling of various processes and much more.
