The Faculty of Environment and the Faculty of Science succeeded in re-accreditation of doctoral programs. Both successful programs were authorized to teach this spring for the next 10 years. This was due to activities in the STUVIN project, which is common to the aforementioned UJEP faculties.
Benefits for UJEP and Ústí region
The development of scientific work in nanotechnologies and analytical chemistry has been the subject of many activities for many years, especially the work of scientific teams at the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of the Environment. These activities are continually carried out in the framework of numerous ongoing research projects (the most important to be found here), but they are also part of the important strategic project of MATECH. He is also applying for financial support from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.
More about MATECH in UJEP press release. More about MATECH in an interview with UJEP Rector Martin Balej at iDNES.cz.
The new disciplines will provide support for the further development of nanotechnology and analytical chemistry at our university as part of its strategic goals. It should bring new promising workers to UJEP and the region. As a result, the region can continue its industrial tradition in a modern and gentle way.
