The team of workers and students of the Faculty of Environment and the Faculty of Science succeeded in the call of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic within the program ZÉTA to support applied research. The program aims to connect academia and businesses and support young scientists under 35 years of age.
The team led by Dr. Hana Malinska, Ph.D. The Commission has been interested in the plan to optimize the process of producing energy biomass with regard to its chemical composition. The project is a follow-up to several years of research on the cultivation of the energy crop Miscanthus x giganteus on contaminated and infertile soils carried out at the FŽP in cooperation with other faculty staff.
