Lung cancer is the most common cause of cancer-related deaths in the world. The high mortality rate and the ability of patients to survive for five years is less than 15% and is due to the fact that 70% of diagnosed lung cancers are at an advanced stage. [1] Department at Faculty of Science UJEP is a part of a project aimed at the development of microfluidic chip (MLC chip), which allows to isolate (quantify) tumor cell populations.
