Sounds like the motor backing out. Typically on the gear box there's a set screw to position the motor to interface with the rest of the gears. You should be able to tighten that set screw to take care of the issue, but be sure to not over tighten it I am inclined to say that your problem is in your battery, though. My gun is making a low pitched grinding noise. So, I'm currently trying to trouble shoot a broken G&P M4 so I was testing it with a battery which I had just let charge for about 30 minutes to an hour (It was a cheap testing battery, so I wasn't too concerned about the not fully charging thing). I do my control test with the battery by However, the gun still makes this grinding noise, but only when feeding BBs. No magazine attached, it cycles as normal.
